Write ScarScript. Run it instantly.
Powered by the official ScarScript compiler running in your browser as WebAssembly — authentic v1.0.2 diagnostics and real generated Go source. Autocomplete for keywords, standard library functions, and methods is built in. Please note this is a beta release, so you may encounter occasional bugs or parser errors.
Press Run to check and execute your program.
$ scar run hello.scarOfficial compiler, in your browser: every check and every run goes through scar.wasm — the ScarScript compiler itself, compiled from Go. Errors are the compiler's own, verbatim: file.scar:line:col: error: message. The GO SOURCE tab shows the real Go code the compiler generates for your program.
Playground limits: output runs in a sandboxed in-browser runtime (capped at 3s and 20,000 lines) since Go programs need a Go backend — the generated Go source runs natively with scar run after installing the compiler. The file module uses in-memory storage that resets on reload.
